Enterprises is a 100% Australian owned family company that
commenced trading in 1971. Over the past 45 years the company
has grown to employ over 70 people at our three premises in
Sydney. The core business of the company is manufacturing
and importing automotive accessories and
seat covers in particular.

We are
the undisputed car accessories market leader selling over
half a million pairs of seat
covers through stores such as Kmart,
Target,
Big W
and Supercheap
on a national basis as well as regional chains and stand alone
stores. In all we have our range sold in over 1000 outlets
throughout Australia. Our vertically integrated
manufacturing operations ensure that we control quality and
costs throughout the production process. The end result
is competitively priced seat covers that are worthy of
bearing any logo or trademark. Currently our Licensed Brands
include Ford, NRL, AFL,
R.M.Williams, Pink Ribbon,
Everlast, Rachael Hale Auto Accessories.
LOCALLY PRODUCED CUSTOM CAR SEAT COVERS
The
fact that the covers are locally produced means that we are
able to respond quickly to market conditions and meet the
demanding supply requirements of our customers. One of the
hallmarks of the company has been the fact that we have driven
every major new initiative in auto seat
covers over the past 20 years. Recent successes
include printed cotton seat covers back in the early nineties,
"mad cow" seat
covers, and the Racing FX range of brightly coloured seat
covers.

HOUSEHOLD GOODS
In terms
of imported lines we are a large wholesaler of Auto and Household
Accessories including carpet
and carpet rubber
car mats, seat
cushions, steering
wheel covers and picnic
rugs. In the last two years we have developed
and marketed a range of ironing
board covers, which are also produced locally.
These have been an enormous success and sales have increased
to over a quarter of a million units per annum in Australia
with exports to the UK also starting to come
on stream.

Recent additions
to our range include Kenco Premium
Cleaning Products, a long established Brand of car
care products This brand brings
with it a wide range of products including Kenco
Premium Cleaning Products, Air
Fresheners, Microfibre, Brushware,
Synthetic and Leather Chamois, Steering
Wheel Locks and
Car Accessories .
DESIGN INNOVATION
Once
again a key feature of our success has been bringing innovative
and fashionable seat cover designs to an area which has been
dominated by "boring" fabrics. Sperling Enterprises
has the production facilities, marketing expertise, and customer
base to make sure that any product we take on has the maximum
chance of success.
FASHION AUTO ACCESSORIES
Seat covers
have been around for nearly as long as the car seat itself.
Fashion Seatcovers
were the exclusive domain of sheepskins up until the introduction
of terry towelling Seat
Covers in the late 60's. At the time the
majority of car seats were vinyl and terry towelling covers
gained acceptance in the market because they stopped the burn
in summer and the freeze in winter.
From these
humble beginnings fabric seatcovers have grown in popularity
and acceptance and now there are an array of different fabrics
and designs available on the market.
